While you've been debating whether that new Neukölln coffee shop is actually sustainable or just has clever marketing, I've been scheming behind the scenes. And no, not the usual Berlin scheming like splitting a €3.50 Club Mate four ways.
Starting in September, Connect Climate Berlin is getting a major glow-up!
Each newsletter will spotlight someone from our community who's genuinely passionate about sustainability.
We're talking about your neighbour who actually knows which bin the yoghurt container goes in, the colleague who bikes to work even when it's raining sideways, or that person at your local farmers market who knows the carbon footprint of every radish.
These aren't your typical "I founded three climate tech startups before breakfast" types; they're real humans doing real sustainability work in our beautifully chaotic city.
*Cue dramatic Berlin techno beat*
📺 Introducing Connect Climate TV
It’s an ongoing interview series that'll make you feel slightly better about humanity while you wait 20 minutes for the M10 tram. We're elevating voices of Berliners who have a genuine heart and love for sustainability, the folks building tomorrow's sustainable future right here in our beloved Hauptstadt (yes, we said it unironically).
Each conversation dives into their sustainability journey, what sparked their green awakening, and their vision for the future – all in 20 minutes or less, because let's face it, your attention span is already competing with that TikTok notification.
Our inaugural guest is the brilliant Angeley Mullins, a seasoned commercial executive who has held leadership roles across Amazon, Intuit, and GoDaddy, and most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer at Resourcify – a circularity platform working toward zero waste.
Her expertise spans revenue growth, marketing, and international expansion in both startups and corporations.
In 2023, Crunchbase recognised her as one of the most influential women in sales. She's been featured in Forbes and VentureBeat, and she's a frequent keynote speaker and podcaster. Beyond her commercial prowess, she's passionate about advancing women in leadership and diversity at the executive level.
So grab your oat milk latte, find a spot that's not occupied by a tourist taking photos, and let's dive in!
*Thank you to Hotel Telegraphenamt for letting us film in their location.
